Sinopse 
As primeiras pesquisas sobre matérias-primas siliciosas no território da Polônia datam dos primeiros anos após a Primeira Guerra Mundial. O patriarca desses estudos foi o arqueólogo Stefan Krukowski (1890–1982). Juntamente com Jan Samsonowicz (1888–1959), então um jovem geólogo, eles realizaram uma grande pesquisa focada em depósitos de sílex e locais de exploração pré-históricos. O ano de 2022 traz a celebração do centenário de sua descoberta mais importante: Krzemionki.
